Shipping Policies

As most people have noticed, shipping costs have increased significantly over the past few years. For most of our items, there are a couple of choices for shipping speed. Note that the amount you pay is only what the label costs us. We do not upcharge for packing materials, transportation, or add any additional expenses. We will prepare your package to arrive safely and will minimize its weight to keep your shipping cost as low as possible.

To determine shipping costs, add the items in which you are interested to the cart. Once your address is entered, you will be able to see the shipping cost. Note that some items such as batteries can only be shipped via FedEx; if you purchase multiple items and one or more of them fall into this category, all items will be shipped via FedEx to minimize your overall shipping cost.

We make every effort to ship quickly: typically, same or next day except for Sundays. 

Merchandise Policies

Return and Refund Policy: 
Contact us first with details - we can often save everyone a lot of work. For any undamaged and unused product, safely return it to us with all included accessories and packaging along with a copy of the original receipt within 14 calendar days of the date you receive the product. Note that electronics are not returnable if the original package has been opened. Upon receipt, the item(s) will be inspected to determine condition; if it is undamaged and unused, a refund will be made to your original credit/debit card, less the cost of original shipping. If the item is found to be used or damaged, the item will be returned to the buyer and no refund or exchange will be issued.

​Exchanges:

Perhaps you ordered the wrong size gloves and want a pair of larges instead of smalls. Great. We can fix that for you. Send us the details in an email via our 'contact' button in the 'more...' menu. Unless we shipped you the wrong item, or the item was damaged during the shipping process from us to you, the buyer is responsible to arrange for and pay for safe return shipping. [In other words, you will want to consider insuring your shipment from you to us.] Once we receive the original item, the buyer will be contacted to settle any difference in price between the original and newly selected item. There will also be a charge for shipping the newly selected item to you. We will send you an invoice with cost details. Once the invoice is paid, we will ship your newly selected item. Items shipped for a return or exchange after the 14 calendar day window has closed will be refused and the package will be returned to the sender.

Shipping Damage:

For products that were damaged during shipping from us to you: please contact us via email for more information. You will not pay any costs related to this situation. You may be asked to return the damaged items at our cost. At our discretion, we may either repair or replace the item(s).

The following products are not eligible for return:

Items that have been used (if items are electronic in nature, the package must not have been opened), Clarinet Tuning Rings, 12V Batteries.

Electronics:

Individual electronic parts work together as a system. Each part in the system can change the behavior or even damage the other parts. Therefore, we warrant our electronic parts ONLY when used following our instructions. We DO NOT warrant our parts when used in a system that includes parts from other manufacturers since their items are not in our control, just as Ford would not warrant a part if you chose to try to use it in your Toyota! If you choose to use our components and deviate from our instructions, we will attempt to help you troubleshoot the issue, but we do not offer any type of warranty or exchange option. We require photographs of the entire electronic system as part of any troubleshooting or warranty discussion.

Warranty:

We warrant the proper function of our items ONLY when they are used according to our instructions, by the original purchaser, for a period of 60 days. Our warranty does not cover abuse, neglect, wear, aesthetics, misapplication, use as wheel chocks, use as crowbars, use as hammers, brownouts, blackouts, whiteouts or lightning, vandals (or Goths), when cats and dogs start living together, theft or loss. Our items are designed to last for years and years, but we can't anticipate every type of crazy thing that might come our way or that you might do...
