Zeiss to Picatinny/Weaver Rail Optical Scope Adapter

This item allows the adaptation of the older style of Zeiss optical dovetail mounts DIRECTLY to a 20/21 mm wide Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) or Weaver rail. Rail widths are across the widest part of the rail. Note that many people say that Weaver or Picatinny rails are 20 mm wide - if they are precisely made, they are closer to 21 mm.
 
The widest part of the Zeiss dovetail rail is about 14.6 mm.
 
This allows you to pull those old, and excellent, Zeiss optics out of the closet and get them back in the game! In fact, anything that has the right shape Zeiss mount can be used.
 
Note: Picatinny and Weaver rails are almost identical except for the size of the slots that go across the top.  This mount will fit either type. This will work with a Tikka T3 rail.
 
This adapter allows the scope to be mounted to the Picatinny/Weaver rail as closely as possible.  This item is made of high strength thermoplastic.  It is an incredibly stiff and strong mount and is also lightweight.  It comes as shown with the two halves, washers and the clamping screws.  Other items shown in the pictures are not included.
 
It is 80mm long (3.17 inches) and 20 mm high (0.80 inches). The weight is about 68 grams (2.5 ounces).
