Use these tuning rings to perfect and harmonize your sound. One giant benefit is that these are thinner than most other tuning rings and come in 3 unique thicknesses - so you can use them individually or in combination to get just the right overall thickness to hit your "cent" mark. The other nice thing is that these are inexpensive enough that you won't sweat losing one or loaning them out!
This size is often used in the middle/center barrel of the Selmer Centered Tone and Series 9 clarinets, among others.
You will receive a total of 6 rings: 2 each of the following approximate nominal thicknesses - 1-1/2(a), 2(b) and 3mm (c). They are 22 mm outside diameter and 14 mm inside diameter and will fit many brands of clarinets. Each color corresponds to a particular thickness. Colors may vary from those in the photos.
On average, the washers wind up with these thicknesses - you can stack as many as you want until you run out of room! Then they can be stacked in different combinations to make many finely-spaced gradations. Here are the thicknesses you can create with this set:
